How we can help...

Social Activities

We organize activities and events to help those who need healthy social contact. Our volunteers provide a positive and stimulating environment that encourages participation and creates renewed confidence, happiness and lasting relationships with both our volunteers and our elderly.

Support Services

Age Concern provides free and confidential Elder Abuse Response Services throughout New Zealand. We employ professional staff to work with older people / kaumātua and their family / whanau to provide support and advice towards reducing the harm caused by elder abuse and neglect.

Advice and Guides

Age Concern produces a range of printed and recorded publications on topics of particular interest to older people, their families
and caregivers. Some electronic versions are also available for download. Resources are also available through your local branches of Age Concern.

Join us here in our Rotorua branch for social activities, events, advice and support.

Donations provide much needed funds for maintaining resources used by our members.

The occasional and regular help that volunteers provide is greatly appreciated and valued by us.
